Week 1

Week 1 didn't go as well as planned. Was very busy with Christmas. Visits from the kids & family.
I didn't pig out on the food as much which was a good thing. And we had a snowfall. So we spent an hour outside shoveling on Thursday.

I did manage to lose 1 pound. So that was a good thing. Hopefully I can get back on track this week.

Hope everyone had a good New Year's eve. Enjoy the New Year.

Winter Pagan Fitness Challenge

I am joining a fitness challenge in hopes as to help me get healthy and connect more with Spirit.
I hope to keep a record of my journey here. And with the help of everyone that is participating I hope to stay on track.

I want to incorporate the elements into my journey. This is what I have in mind.

Earth - eating a more healthy balanced diet. And eating food with less chemicals. So I will be doing more cooking from scratch as much as possible.

Air - breathing exercises. Doing some yoga & pilates. Doing games that will strengthen the mind.

Fire - working on strengthening my body. So I will work on cardio exercise.

Water - making sure to drink enough water for my body.

Spirit - working on connecting more with Spirit. I will try daily meditations.


This is were I hope to start.

Starting weight as of this morning is 204.  A little healthy history about me -- I have hypothyroidism, high cholesterol, high blood pressure & low vitamin D. I am working to get these all under control.
